This XPOWER X-2580 is built specifically for that environment. The four-stage filtration system is what separates a real air scrubber from a household air purifier. The two outer nylon mesh filters capture the bulk of medium and large contaminants and can be hand-washed and reused. The third stage activated carbon filter absorbs and neutralizes odours — critical on sewage backups, smoke damage, and mould jobs where the smell is as much a problem as the particulates. The final stage HEPA filter removes 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns, including bacteria, allergens, and sub-micron dust that standard filters miss entirely. Despite the filtration capacity, the X-2580 is compact and stackable — the 1/2 HP motor delivers up to 550 CFM from a unit light enough to carry in one hand. The five-speed control lets you dial airflow to match the space, and the lipped air outlet can be ducted to create negative air pressure in a contained remediation zone, which is a requirement on most professional mold and biohazard jobs.
